Let’s be honest – bunk beds are space saving, functional and kids love them. Kids Bunk Beds

Whilst you may have the required amount of space available for something larger, kids bunk beds often remain a good choice due to the fact that they provide additional sleeping space. They’re also great for freeing up floor space, especially if you have a young child that enjoys spending time in their room.

Some of the more popular bunk beds now feature an upper single bed, the lower half of the bunks dedicated to providing compact bedroom furniture, such as a wardrobe and chest of drawers. For the older child they can provide much need desk space and an area of all-important study. There’s also the style that come with a single bed over, the lower bunk being a double bed.

For those that like to have the option of additional seating in their bedrooms, you can opt for a futon bunk. In some cultures such as Assyria time, they used bed two different ways. One to sleep in and one to eat. Inlays of animals and flowers where used to decorate the beds and show its richness and power. Beds where often encrusted with precious stones and laid on luxurious rugs and carpets, piled for comfort. In some colder countries nomad used goat skins filled with water to prevent from cold grounds.

Beds have been used to show people the sign of richness and its practical use. Pharaoh would be layed on their beds after their death and Greeks and Romans would do everything, from resting to eating.
